Padel 88 Member Code of Conduct:
At Padel 88, our members are the heart of a community built on respect, wellness, and excellence. To ensure a premium and inclusive experience for all, we invite you to embrace the following Code of Conduct. These guidelines reflect our shared values and commitment to elevating every moment on and off the court.
1. RESPECT AND COURTESY
1.1 Treat Everyone with Respect
Members must treat fellow members, guests, and staff with courtesy, respect, and kindness at all times. Uphold the spirit of community that defines Padel 88.
1.2 No Discrimination or Harassment
Discriminatory behaviour, harassment (verbal, physical, or otherwise), or bullying will not be tolerated. Padel 88 is committed to providing an inclusive environment free from discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. We believe luxury begins with inclusivity.
1.3 Respect Privacy
Do not invade the privacy of others, particularly in changing rooms, showers, or private areas. Unauthorised photography or recording is strictly prohibited. Every member deserves peace of mind at our clubs.
2. SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 Follow Safety Protocols
Members must adhere to all safety instructions provided by staff, coaches, or signage.
2.2 Proper Use of Equipment
Use all equipment responsibly and as intended. If unsure how to use any equipment, seek guidance from staff.
2.3 Report Hazards
Report any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or hazards to staff immediately.
2.4 Prioritise Your Well-Being
Avoid facility use if you are unwell, injured, or under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other mood-altering substances.
3. HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS
3.1 Personal Hygiene
Maintain good personal hygiene to ensure a pleasant environment for all. Shower before using the sauna, steam room, or ice bath. Good hygiene is not only respectful; it’s essential in maintaining the high standards of our shared space.
3.2 Clean Equipment After Use
Wipe down all equipment after use with the provided cleaning materials.
3.3 Proper Attire
Wear appropriate sports attire that complies with the Club’s dress code. Avoid torn or inappropriate clothing. Closed-toe, non-marking rubber-soled shoes are required in courts, gymnasiums, and exercise areas. Dress the part; your attire reflects the spirit of Padel 88.
4. FACILITY USAGE
4.1 No Solicitation
Selling or promoting private services, merchandise, or personal training sessions within the Club is strictly prohibited.
4.2 Locker Usage
Daily lockers must be cleared after each use. Private lockers are subject to rental terms and must not be used beyond the agreed period.
4.3 No External Food or Drinks
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for water bottles. Complimentary drinks provided by the Club must be consumed on-site. To preserve the integrity of our curated culinary and beverage offerings, outside food and drinks are not permitted. Hydration bottles are welcome.
4.4 Guest Compliance
Members are responsible for ensuring their guests adhere to the Code of Conduct and Club rules.
5. BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
5.1 No Disruptive Behaviour
Loud, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour is not permitted. Members must maintain a calm and respectful demeanour at all times. Padel 88 is a space for inspiration and connection. Let’s maintain the energy that makes it special.
5.2 No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking, vaping, or the use of tobacco products is prohibited anywhere within the Club premises.
5.3 No Lewd or Compromising Actions
Members must refrain from engaging in lewd or compromising behaviour, particularly in changing rooms, showers, or private areas. This is your club. Treat it and others with the utmost dignity.
5.4 Respect Staff Authority
Follow all instructions given by Club staff, coaches, or management. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
6. SPORTSMANSHIP
6.1 Fair Play
Engage in fair play during matches or activities. Unsportsmanlike conduct, such as verbal abuse, cheating, or aggressive behaviour, is unacceptable.
6.2 Court Etiquette
Our courts are a stage for excellence and camaraderie. Let’s play with grace, respect, and joy. Adhere to court etiquette, including waiting your turn, respecting opponents, and maintaining a positive attitude during play.
7. DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
7.1 Warnings
Minor violations may result in a verbal or written warning.
7.2 Suspension
Repeated or serious offences may lead to temporary suspension of membership privileges.
7.3 Termination
In cases of gross misconduct including violent behaviour, harassment, or repeated non-compliance membership may be permanently revoked without refund. All decisions will be handled with discretion and respect for all parties involved.
7.4 Legal Action
In cases of severe misconduct, legal action may be pursued against the offending member.
